The expected result of RICHARD is:

Healthcare systems more efficient through ICT as a major change agent to speed up the integration process and design of ICT based territorial clinical pathways for the deployment of sustainable chronic care models for European regions.

The expected impact is on three levels:

  • Innovative clinical sustainable services for the management of chronic diseases (in the short term);
  • Integration of technology within the territory (in the medium term);
  • Chronic care model ICT based (in the long term).
